WHAT CAN A FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVISOR ACTUALLY DO FOR ME?
Provide you with a plan or advice with helps you to secure and grow your wealth and family. This service can include retirement planning, investment advise, life insurance, will and testaments, etc. How much should I invest, should I buy another property, what is the best insurance for me, how should my will and testament read. These are the questions your advisor should be able to answer. 

WHAT IS AN INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVISOR AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
These are advisors who are NOT tied to, and NOT commissioned by, a specific company to sell only their products or services exclusively. Being independent like Marcel, enables these advisors to give truly fair financial advice to their clients. Compared to Tied Agents who can only offer a single company's products and who get paid additional bonuses if they sell their employer's products. This is important as you the client so you can learn more about the market as a whole, instead of one product offering that might not suit you or your plan.

WHAT ARE REGISTERED FINANCIAL ADVISORS?
These are advisors who are registered & are certified by law to give advice. The Financial Industry is a highly regulated industry, and to be qualified to give advice all advisors must be registered for each service they provide. Marcel is registered at all the relevant Ombudsman Authorities.

HOW VALUABLE IS FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE?
You advisor should be able to increase your  wealth by 30% and your income by 50%. In addition he or she should insurance all your risks and make sure your legacy is well planned for the next generation by use of a will and testament. WHAT SHOULD FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE DO?
Financial and investment advice, assists clients like yourself to make an informed decisions regarding their wealth and insurance. It is part training and education for clients, and it is part brokering the most appropriate solution for clients.

HOW EASY IS THE ADVICE TO DO?
It is as easy to do as being able to attend an 1 to 2 hour lecture or meeting, and being able to understand what is being taught. Usually over Zoom and later in person. Then one has to do the paperwork, which is usually the hardest part.

HOW COSTLY IS FINANCIAL OR INVESTMENT ADVICE?
It can be free, and ranges up to R20k depending on what service you select. If you choose the option to take out new policies or replay existing policies with Marcel, he can write off his fees to the commissions he will earn from the insurers and or invest houses. Observations: 

1. Only one bank made the top 20 list.

2. Sygnia has the lowest fees in the list.

3. Because of Sygnia's high level of automation along with their use of indexed funds, their growth is more consistent and predictable. 

4. The top players have had one year good growth, which alters the long terms results. Not maintainable as these top results are actively managed funds, as apposed to passively managed funds.
